Lithos House

Welcome to Lithos House, a charming two-storey retreat that celebrates the timeless stone-built character of Lofou, Cyprus. Lithos (Λίθος) means “stone” in Greek, a fitting name for a village home inspired by the material that has shaped Lofou’s houses, courtyards and winding streets for generations.

Before you even step inside, Lithos welcomes you with its wonderfully quiet front yard, offering a peaceful outdoor space in which to begin the morning, enjoy the fresh village air or simply slow down after a day spent exploring the surrounding countryside.

On the ground floor, an inviting open-plan living area brings together a comfortable sitting space with fireplace and a well-equipped private kitchen. Warm and practical, it creates a natural heart to the house where couples and families can relax, prepare something to eat and enjoy the freedom of having their own village home.

Upstairs, a spacious bedroom provides comfortable accommodation for two adults, alongside the house’s private bathroom. For families, the sofa in the downstairs living area converts into an additional bed for up to two children under the age of 15, allowing Lithos House to accommodate as many as four guests.

Younger visitors can also enjoy the small playground shared with the neighbouring house, adding another family-friendly element to the stay. Lithos sits close to Folia House, making the two properties particularly convenient for extended families or friends travelling together who would like to remain nearby while enjoying the independence and privacy of separate accommodation.

Just a short walk from the centre of Lofou Village and approximately two minutes from Oinoessa’s other guesthouse complexes, Lithos combines a peaceful setting with easy access to the village.
